Datacentrix' Compliance function ensures that the company complies with both the letter and the spirit of the laws and regulations governing its activities. Although not a mandatory requirement, the company's dedicated Compliance function indicates the company's attitude and commitment to corporate governance.
Compliance is driven from board level – the Compliance Committee reports into the Audit and Risk Committee and comprises key management members from a number of functions including finance, IT operations, legal, SHEQ (safety, health, environment and quality) and HR.
The Compliance function is managed within the bounds of the company's compliance policy and framework, which aims to reduce risk across its operations. Compliance is monitored through regular risk assessments, ongoing monitoring and audits conducted by relevant parties (compliance function, certain staff members and internal auditors).
