The Projects business unit was established to deliver a project management service to the Datacentrix business. Any project for any customer – no matter how big or small – is handled by this specialist unit.
The Projects business unit is a virtual team, servicing the diverse and varied needs of the company's customers. It provides complete project life cycle involvement - from solution analysis to implementation, testing, and post-implementation evaluation.
The team prides itself on exceeding its customer delivery expectations - on every single project it executes.
The Projects business unit has made a strong investment in best practices, helping its customers to lower costs and enhance service to their end-users. It utilises a well-established methodology that comprises five stages – Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Closing.
Through the expertise of its team and access to skilled resources through its national points of presence, Datacentrix has the capacity to execute any size of project, irrespective of where in the country its services are required.
The Projects team strives to deliver maximum return on investment on every project it delivers - whether once-off or ongoing. Each and every asset involved in a project is tagged, ensuring nothing goes missing (ever). At the end of each project either the customer is handed a comprehensive sign-off pack or, where a customer requires support services, a handover is made to Datacentrix Services, which provides a full range of ongoing service support.
